Frequently Asked Questions

Where can Ultrasound Cavitation be done on my body?

Common areas are: stomach, thighs, hips, back, chin, and arms. There is no limit to where you can use the Ultrasound Cavitation, but areas with larger amounts of localized fat are likely to see a better result.

Is the Ultrasound Cavitation treatment painful?

No. This treatment is painless. Unlike traditional liposuction, Cavitation Liposuction uses no injections, anesthesia, and there is no down time making it the perfect treatment for removal of fat and cellulite.

Is the treatment safe?

Yes, because it is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment, it is safe and you will experience no downtime as a result.

How does ultrasound cavitation remove the fat from my body?

Ultrasound cavitation emulsifies (liquify) your fat with the power of sound waves during the treatment making it easy for your body to expel it through the urinary and lymphatic systems. Once the fat is released, some patients have noticed they feel warmer and may feel unwell, however this feeling was temporary.

Why do I temporarily feel warmer or unwell after the session?

This happens due to the body detoxifying itself (detoxification) and the release of thermal energy of the body.

How long are the treatments and how many should I have done?

The treatments last about 30-50 minutes each and we recommend doing them every 72 hours to allow ample time for the fat to expel completely from your body. While you are able to have up to 12 sessions, most clients will do anywhere between 8-12 before achieving their desired results.

Do I need to do anything before or after the treatments?

In order to make your treatments more effective, you will want to be sure to drink plenty of water (at least 1.5 liters) before and after your treatment. We also recommend eating a low calorie diet and minimizing your intake of carbohydrates and fat for at least 24 hours before hand. This will help to burn any fatty acid and glucose stored in your body.

Can anyone have the treatment done?

For the most part, anyone looking to reduce fat and cellulite are a good candidate for Ultrasound Cavitation. However, anyone with a pacemaker, cardiac or vascular disease, and women who are pregnant should not have the treatment done. If you have a medical condition,  you will be advised to consult your physician before your treatment to receive clearance.

Suggestions for Best Results: Before & Aftercare

*Start with a 7 day cleanse/Total Body Detox (if available)

*Drink at least 2 liters of water before your treatment and another 2 liters per day following your treatment (soft drink, soda, juice or tea is not water).

*Refrain from ANY alcohol consumption for 2 – 3 days following your treatments. Alcohol can prevent your liver from working to remove fats as it will make alcohol metabolism its priority before fat removal and could hinder your results.

*Refrain from caffeine for 3-4 days prior to your treatment and for 48 hours after treatment. If you absolutely can not skip your coffee for 3-4 days prior, then refrain from it the day before and the day of your appointment, along with the 48 hours after.

*Avoid eating large meals 2 hours prior to and 1 hour after your treatment.

*Refrain from aspirin, ibuprofen, or other anti-inflammatory products for 2 days prior and after your treatment unless prescribed by your doctor. If you are taking a prescribed medication continue taking as prescribed by your doctor. Be aware that it may slow your results.

*Localize the treatment area after the treatment, such as using a body brush, using body moisturizer every day, and massage is recommended with a  moisturizer in the treatment area.

*The use of dry skin brushing daily is to stimulate lymph movement (your therapist will show you how to do this). This is not mandatory but will hasten the results.

*Diet: Follow a low carb, low starch, low sugar diet for best results.

*At least 20 minutes of high heart rate cardio workouts after treatment. It is best to do it immediately after treatment and in the next three days (this is the minimum, 45 minutes is best) after your treatment to stimulate lymph movement.

Whether you want to remove belly, thigh, arm, hip, or back fat, Ultrasound Cavitation and RF skin tightening is the breakthrough treatment for you!

RF Skin Tightening

What is RF Skin Tightening?

Radio frequency skin tightening is an aesthetic technique that uses RF energy to heat tissue and stimulate subdermal collagen production in order to reduce the appearance of fine lines and loose skin.

The careful heating of this deep layer of skin does two things: it tightens the collagen fibers you already have (which means your skin tightens), and it stimulates your cells to produce new collagen which gives you tighter, firmer skin later.

Why Radiofrequency for Fat Removal?

Fat cells respond to certain stimuli such as temperature. Fat has a higher resistance to heat energy than the muscle and skin. The higher the resistance of fat cells, the more heat energy it will absorb and the more it will die.  The fat cells will then undergo “apoptosis” also known as natural cell death. The cell slowly collapses and its content is digested by macrophages. Then it is cleared through the lymphatic system and processed as waste in the liver.

Is Radiofrequency skin tightening safe?

RF skin tightening is considered to be very safe; the only common side effect is mild to moderate pain during treatment ( if you are hypersensitive). Your skin may be tender and a little red after your treatment, but things should calm down within a few days. RF skin tightening requires no downtime or post-treatment skin care.

How many treatments should I get?

Some plan to receive 3-10 treatments to get the best results. Since new collagen growth does not happen immediately after RF skin tightening, neither do the results. Your skin will gradually become tighter for up to 6 months after your session.

Vacuum RF Therapy

What is Vacuum RF Therapy for cellulite reduction?

Vacuum RF Therapy is one of a number of therapies used to tackle the hard-to-shift, dimpled fat that is often found on thighs, knees, buttocks, stomach and the tops of arms.

How does vacuum bipolar therapy work?

A vacuum is created around the area, creating a rhythmic massage. It lifts the cellulite away from the muscle, effectively breaks down subcutaneous fat, and reduces cellular tissue accumulation of fat. The probe releases micro-vascular lymphatic vessels and at the same time, promotes tissue metabolism, and repels cellulite. The unit’s waves can penetrate deep into the skin and affect the fatty acids and reduce the fat cell size. The vacuum encourages blood flow, stimulates lymphatic drainage, and amplifies the effects of massage or exercise. The detoxification is enhanced by the vacuum bipolar RF which allows the skin to become more elastic and lustrous. Vacuum  RF therapy is a similar, but modern version of the ancient Chinese art of "cupping" that is now a popular alternative treatment.

It is frequently recommended for:

*Reducing excess fat deposit in hips, thighs and buttocks

*Improved blood circulation

*Relaxing muscle tension

*Increased lymph circulation and elimination of toxins

*Improved skin tightness, firmness and elasticity

*Prevention of cellulite by inhibiting fat storage

What areas of the body can be targeted?

Vacuum RF Therapy can be done over the entire body. Although the most common areas are legs, buttocks, abdomen, and upper arms.

What is a typical treatment like?

The treatment is performed on a comfortable massage table.

It is relatively painless. You may experience a gentle warming heat with a comfortable massage. The typical treatment time is about 30 minutes, concentrating on the problem area. During the procedure you will be appropriately draped to ensure your comfort.

Infrared light therapy

What is infrared light therapy?

Infrared light therapy is an effective way for rejuvenating and healing your skin. Studies show that strong light is absorbed by mitochondria and stimulates the collagen production which is the building block of skin structure. The heat and light boost blood circulation, providing more nutrients and blood to your skin.

A part of your cells called mitochondria, sometimes called the “powerhouse” of your cells, soak it up and make more energy. Some experts think this helps cells repair themselves and become healthier. Receiving a gentle massage along with infrared light therapy activates healing in skin and muscle tissue.

Infrared light is the heat people feel when exposed to the sun without the sun damage.

Benefits of Infrared Light Therapy:

Strengthens cellular structure

Reduce inflammation

Increase circulation

Increase the suppleness of skin

Skin tightening

Reduce Scars

Boost cell turnover

Helps with rheumatoid arthritis, arthritis, bursitis, TMJ, neuropathy, sciatica, etc

Boost collagen production

Detoxification

Skin rejuvenation

Pain relief

One of the characteristics of infrared light is its ability to penetrate below the skin layers, providing a much greater depth which is able to effectively provide pain relief. This non-invasive, natural, and painless method can provide an enormous range of health benefits, without damaging the skin through UV radiation.

The increase in the blood flow to the different parts of the body makes it possible for oxygen and nutrients to reach the cells, enabling them to function properly and effectively. This therapy stimulates the regeneration and repair of injured tissues reducing pain and inflammation.

How can infrared light help with cellulite and what areas of the body can you treat?

Infrared light penetrates the tissue under the surface of the skin (at about 2 to 7 centimeters deep, reaching the muscles, nerves, and even the bones) and does not affect the top layer of skin. Researchers concluded from studies that absorption of infrared light by mitochondria decreases cellulite, reduces weight, and improves blood lipids. The infrared light causes increased flow of blood, sweat production, and improves circulation in the body. When infrared light is absorbed by the body, it improves health and skin and helps the body to break down fat more effectively and faster.

Infrared light therapy has also scientifically proven to not only help with the reduction of cellulite but it also helps with acne scars reduction, wrinkle reduction, and healing psoriasis. Infrared light is suitable for all skin types and most body areas including the thighs, abdomen, hands, upper arms, and neck, forehead, crow’s feet, chin.

Is Infrared light safe?

Infrared therapy is risk-free, milder which does not hurt, cut or burn your skin. Infrared light is safe and is used even for infants in the neonatal intensive care unit.

Contraindications for infrared light therapy:

The major contraindications for the use of light therapy are diseases that involve the retina of the eye (such as diabetes) and the use of photosensitizing medications (i.e. lithium, melatonin, phenothiazine antipsychotics and certain antibiotics). You need to consult with your health care provider to see if this is the right treatment for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

*Do I need eye protection?

It is not required that you wear eye protection, nevertheless the lights are very bright and may be uncomfortable for some individuals with sensitivities to light.

Can you get a tan from the infrared lights?

It will not make you tan because there are no UVA or UVB that changes the skin's color.

Does it help with Cellulite?

Infrared light therapy is emerging as a safe, natural, non-invasive, and highly effective way to treat cellulite. Red light therapy beneficially alters cellular function to promote health, skin rejuvenation, and significant fat loss.

Should I wear lotion?

Although there is nothing wrong with using lotion if you choose to, it is not necessary. There are no scientific studies showing that applying lotion before or after red light therapy is beneficial or recommended. If the question is lotion or no lotion, the short answer is no—it's simply not necessary.

How many sessions of infrared light therapy does it take to see results?

10 sessions. Infrared light therapy requires up to 10 sessions or more, each spaced out about a week apart.

Suggestions for Best Results: Before & Aftercare

Recommendations to follow if you are thinking to take infrared light therapy for skin tightening and cellulite reduction:

*Primarily consult a dermatologist before you try any treatment. You should be aware of the working and possible impacts of the treatment on health.

*Clean the treatment area before every session.

Typically, the exposure of infrared light rays can be for 90 seconds on the skin. It can be a maximum of 20 minutes per session. Session timing may differ depending on the technique used.

*Most people will not require post treatment care. You should, however, completely avoid sun exposure for up to a week and then use a sunscreen with a minimum spf of 50 on the areas treated, as your skin will be extra sensitive for a few weeks following the treatment.

Lipo Laser

What is Lipo Laser (lipolysis)also known as Non-Invasive Lipo?

Red light therapy is also called low-level laser therapy (LLLT), low-power laser therapy (LPLT), and photobiomodulation (PBM).  LLLT (Low Level Laser Therapy) has been used for years. Low-level laser or laser lipo machines can dramatically enhance skin tightening and reduce cellulite.

What does Lipo Laser do?

The laser energy penetrates the skin surface and stimulates the fat cell membranes, changing their permeability. The laser energy penetrates down to the fat cells and creates tiny holes in their membranes. The fat cells reduce their overall size (shrinks) and intracellular fat is released. This causes the fat cells to release their stored fatty acids, glycerol, and water into the body and then shrink. Then, the fatty triglycerides flow out of the disrupted cell membranes and flow into the interstitial space, where they gradually pass through the body's natural metabolic functions (lymphatic system or burn them for energy) and it flows with no harmful physiological effects. This process results in inches of fat loss among clients.

You can think of your fat cells as groups of grapes that are nice and juicy. The laser energy reaches the fat cells and shrinks the cells and those juicy grapes become dried raisins.

Benefits of the Lipo Laser Machine:

*fat reduction

*cellulite reduction

*boost metabolism

*lymphatic drainage

*improves blood circulation

*body contouring

*tight and toned skin

*Safe & Effective

*No Downtime

*Affordable

  Contraindications for Lipo Laser

You will NOT be able to receive Lipo Laser if any of the following apply to you:

Pregnant

Breastfeeding

HIV/AIDS

Cancer (all forms)

Undergoing chemotherapy or immunotherapy

High blood pressure (uncontrolled)

Diabetes (uncontrolled)

Chemical peels and laser resurfacing

Sunburn

Is Lipo Laser safe?

Since low-level laser emits low level laser energy, lipo laser treatment is completely non-invasive, safe and has no negative side effect for fat loss. Lipo laser involves the application of a highly sensitive laser to dissolve the fat deposits situated in the upper layers of the human skin. The energy emanating from the laser breaks up the fat cells to produce an oily material. This substance is either naturally eliminated through normally bodily processes or can be removed via a small incision made by a practicing surgeon. This leads to a permanent loss of fat if a healthy diet is maintained after treatment. The subtlety of the treatment carries various advantages over the problems often associated with it. Damaged blood vessels and allied physical risks are significantly reduced. Also, the recovery time is condensed. It is also acknowledged that the laser itself is important in encouraging collagen production, thus strengthening the skin.

How often can you get Lipo Laser treatment?

For this treatment, 2-3 sessions a week for 3-6 weeks is recommended. You must put a minimum of one day in between your treatments. Each session is about 45 minutes. The client is in a comfortable position, while the multi-laser paddles are on the target areas being treated.

Expected results: permanent results visible within 1 week (full results in 4-6 months)

How long does Lipo Laser results last?

Since Lipo laser does not destroy the fat cells but rather empties them of their contents (shrinks unwanted fat cells), the fat cells are capable of storing fat again.

Results vary depending on your lifestyle. A balanced diet and exercise is the only way to ensure lasting results. To get the optimal results you are seeking, you should incorporate more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein into your diet, while reducing the intake of sugars, simple carbohydrates, and saturated fats.

How much water should I drink after lipo laser?

64 oz. a day and/or ½ your body weight in oz. is optimal.

Does Lipo Laser tighten skin?

The treatments can tighten the skin. During the treatment, the heat from the laser helps tighten your skin while fats cells are melting away.

Disclaimer: May not be suitable for all body types. There is no guarantee of specific results. Results will vary from person to person and are based on factors such as age, lifestyle habits and medical history.

Body Scrub

Indulge in the healing qualities of these amazing salt or sugar scrubs that were designed to smooth and gently exfoliate your skin.

A warm to hot shower (if provided) or a warm to hot towel will wash away the impurities. Followed by a gentle massage application to apply a butter cream or oil to replenish the moisture, glow, and suppleness to your skin.

Types of scrubs:

Salt Scrubs

Salt scrubs are generally more abrasive because of their sharper edges and, therefore, do a better job at smoothing the rough skin of the body. What really separates salt scrubs from sugar scrubs is that they offer therapeutic, mineralization benefits. Most salt scrubs use sea salts, which are natural purifiers that remove the toxins that block the pores of the skin. It helps the skin breath easier, promotes better circulation, tightens the skin and improves skin texture. There are many sea salts used in scrubs including Himalayan, Mediterranean, Hawaiian and Dead Sea Salts from Israel. These various salts have different trace minerals, which include calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper and iron. The minerals help to promote circulation, reduce the inflammatory response, and act as a detoxifying agent and general muscle relaxant.

Coarse salt scrubs are good for removing dead skin like on your feet and elbows, and are the ideal treatment for skin detoxification. Since the salt granules work a little harder than the gentler sugar scrubs, salt scrubs are a good choice for where skin can get especially dry and calloused.

The most widely used body peeling. Especially sea salt or dead-sea salt is applied . Frequently salt crystals are combined with essential oils, which leave the skin smooth and fragrant.

Suggested use: once a week due to how abrasive Salt Scrubs can be.

Sugar Scrubs

Sugar scrubs are gentler than salt scrubs because the granule is round and therefore doesn’t have any ability to “cut” the skin. It’s a far better choice for sensitive skin types and the only choice for the face. Sugar granules dissolve more easily in hot water, and they are less abrasive than salt scrubs. While sugar scrubs don’t have the mineral benefits of salt scrubs, they are less drying, and many natural scrubs now use natural sugars which contain the nutritive properties of sugar cane. Because of the smaller, finer granules, sugar scrubs make a gentle exfoliant that is suitable for next to all skin types and conditions. The glycolic acid content of sugar is another plus, helping to protect skin against harmful toxins. Vital for the maintenance of healthy skin, this acid works to both condition and moisturize. Even for seriously rough and dry skin, sugar scrubs are great. Sugar also has the benefit of melting as you use it, from the heat of your skin.

It is not as rough as salt crystals but it has almost the same exfoliating effect.

Suggested use: once or twice a week

Loofah: It’s a natural sponge that can be used with salt or sugar scrubs.

Exfoliating gloves/brushes: Highly stimulates circulation used with salt or sugar scrubs.

Herbs, Essential Oils, & Coffee: Used in scrubs.

Contraindications for Body Scrubs

Scrubs and exfoliators also have their specific rules how to apply and when not to apply them to avoid harm and damage:

Sunburn

Eczema

Inflammatory skin

Sensitive skin with break-outs

Cuts, abrasions

Allergy to ingredients used (Nuts, seeds, aromas…)

Thin skin (Use only mild products)

After shaving (Avoid exfoliation with salt)

Please also note: Do not use mechanical and chemical exfoliation at the same time!

Suggestions for best results: Aftercare

The process of exfoliation increases circulation and removal of toxins from the skin. This is why you should drink plenty of water after these pre-treatments, which will support the new skin cells to come through. Also apply moisturizer to hydrate the skin and avoid sunbathing for upcoming 24 hours.

*Do not shave for 24 hours prior to the session and Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Non-surgical Butt Enhancement

Butt Enhancement Vacuum (BEV) Therapy is a non-evasive, non-surgical technique for tissue stimulation for your buttock in a short period of time. It enhances the size and tones the buttock by oxygenating blood flow with suction and release therapy to plump and maximize the appearance of the treated area. It also tones the gluteal muscles (buttocks) by migrating fat to the area and smooths the skin which also helps break the cellulite and fat deposit. The butt enhancement vacuum tightens, repositions, and gives a lasting lift to the skin. It also removes toxins and improves lymphatic drainage. There is no pain and no discomfort, and more importantly, no downtime.

INDICATIONS OF VACUUM THERAPY

The vacuum therapy is indicated for the following cases:

-Cellulite treatment

-Treatment of fibrosis after lipo

-Buttock Lift

-Body shaping

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need for my treatment?

You need to drink a gallon of water throughout the day of the treatment. I recommend 4-5 glasses of water before your treatment and 3-4 after your treatment to make sure all the toxics in your body that will be moved become flushed. Also you may feel sore just like working out or after a massage.

Some people with sensitive skin may bruise.

What gives me the best results?

I would recommend a series of 10-12 treatments; 2-3 times a week.

Sessions have immediate results, and in many cases a real difference may be seen in as few as 1-3 sessions.

The results initially last around 7-10 days, the more sessions you have the longer the results last.

Results vary from person to person but with repeated use you could build up to 2 years between top up sessions! See it as training for your buttocks. Just like when you exercise a muscle, once is not enough for it to stay toned, it needs repetition to gain strength at each use.

Is it painful?

You may experience a slight pinching sensation as the cups are being applied or removed, but otherwise it is pain-free!

Non-surgical Breast Enhancement

We begin with a skin tightening oil or cream to reduce the appearance of sagging skin. Using our specialized vacuum cups, we place the cups on the breast. The vacuum suction causes the breast muscles to contract and strengthen which cause the breast to be firmer and the muscles tight. The muscles will have a more permanent state during the course of the treatments and become more toned and stronger which leads to a fuller breast appearance and a natural lift. The process used naturally reduces toxins from the body via the lymphatic systems.

INDICATIONS OF VACUUM THERAPY

The vacuum therapy is indicated for the following cases:

-Breast lift

-Body shaping

The treatment focuses on pectoral muscles, helping lift loose skin in the process. It also helps lymph and blood circulation to the breast, which can help soften localized fatty deposits. The process used naturally reduces toxins from the body via the lymphatic systems.

Suggested Aftercare for Non-invasive Breast Lift

Since vacuum breast lift is a non-invasive procedure, little aftercare is needed. Your diet and other factors will affect the time  it takes for you to see the results. If you want to discontinue the treatment and not go continue  sessions, your breast will return to their normal appearance and size. The results are not permanent (it's like training a muscle), however the more sessions you attend, the longer the results last.

Benefits:

No downtime.

The procedure takes only 30 to 40 minutes per session

Immediate full recovery

Immediate results

Potentially long-term results

The side effects of the treatment are minor.

*A slight sensitivity that lasts for a few days and mild redness may be some of the side effects. You can resume your daily duties immediately. The results may vary depending on the number of treatments you receive. We recommend anything between 1 and 8 treatment sessions for constructive results.

Disclaimer: May not be suitable for all body types. There is no guarantee of specific results. Results will vary from person to person and are based on factors such as age, lifestyle habits and medical history.

Wood Therapy

Wood therapy is a technique that employs purposely shaped wood pieces to sculpt the body in desired areas, allowing the therapist to move and drain accumulated adipose tissue.

This technique is a superior alternative to regular massage for individuals with disproportionate localized pockets of stubborn fat and cellulite.

How does it work?

The technique employs a series of repetitive movements using more than a dozen different wooden implements. These implements manipulate targeted areas of muscle, fat and cellulite, stimulating the lymphatic drainage system to rid the body of stored toxins. This jump starts metabolism to burn fat. The manipulation serves to release toxins and break down stubborn pockets of cellulite, thereby shrinking disproportionate bulges and smoothing orange-peel dimples.

Major benefits:

Lymphatic drainage and elimination of adipose tissue

Gradual relocation of adipose tissue to other areas to shape and sculpt the body

Break down cellulite nodes

Tones and tightens skin

Reduces “Muffin top”

Eliminates “Saddlebags” on the thighs

Chiseling the waist area

Defines arms and legs

Firms thighs and buttocks

Is Wood Therapy Safe?

Since wood therapy is a 100 percent natural, non-invasive holistic massage treatment, it is generally considered safe.  However, you should always consult with your doctor or massage therapist prior to beginning any new treatments just to be absolutely sure that this type of treatment is right for you!

How long does it last?
It all depends on how often you’re willing to go and lifestyle. Typically, you’re able to see a small difference right after your first treatment. But most people really start to see the effects between their third and fifth treatments.

Wood therapy is most effective as an ongoing treatment, similar to how regular massage therapy works. The more consistent you are with it, the more noticeable and longer-lasting the effects will be. However, the results that you experience will usually stick around for about three months after your last session which is great. So if you miss a session or two, your progress won’t be lost!
